Cascade control is available with two-input type HA series (HA900, HA400) high speed temperature controller.
HA series monitors the controlled object temperature in the master loop and then corrects the set value in the slave loop depending on the deviation between the target value (set value) and actual temperature. The slave unit controls the non-controlled object (heater, refrigeration device, ,etc). As a result, the controlled object temperature can be reached and controlled at the target value. Cascade control is suitable for an application which has a large time lag between the heat/refrigeration source and section whose temperature is necessary to be controlled.
